Dear Sirs,
Please find below our answers to received questions:

1. For the sulphur species the feed stream, please can you confirm how the sulphur is speciated? How much is H2S, Mercaptan or Thiophenes?
- We measure total sulfur, such data will not be given.

2. Is the flow rate quoted the maximum or typical flow? If the maximum is provided - what is the typical flow rate?
- We assumed typical flow rate (70 000 kg/h).

3. In order to provide a quote for support balls, please could you supply the previous loading diagram so we can review what volumes of material are required, and what sizes were previously used?
- Please find attach a loading diagram (Annex No 3).

4. What is the current cycle length of the existing loading?
- The last sorbent loading – November 2019

5. Please advise whether the column is equipped with a grid on the bed bottom or if the bottom is totally filled with ceramic balls
- Yes, there is a grid on the bed bottom. The ceramic balls are on the top of it.

6. Which time is convenient for LOTOS for replacement of incumbent adsorbent?
- Please indicate in the offer the possible delivery date (in weeks from receiving the order). We plan to replace the adsorbent during the Tournaround 2022 (March / April 2022).

7. Expected parameters:
- Proposal for nickel based and coper based type or other type
- Adsorbent capacity of sulfur in mas %
- Adsorbent maximal cycle length for maximum sulfur level after sulfur guard bed 0,2 ppmw
- Adsorbent bed pressure drop

Treść zapytania:

Dear Sirs,
Grupa LOTOS S.A. is pleased to invite you to take part in a tender procedure concerning sulfur guard bed adsorbent.

1. Subject matter of the invitation: sulfur guard bed adsorbent

Please submit an offer in two variants:

Option A
Delivery of:
- Sulfur guard bed adsorbent – 5,7 m3
Delivery of ceramic balls on the side of Grupa LOTOS S.A., please indicate your requirements in the technical part of the offer.

Option B:
Delivery of:
- Sulfur guard bed adsorbent – 5,7 m3
- Ceramic balls - please specify quantities and types

The offer must comply with Annexes No. 1 and 2.

2. Date of delivery of the subject matter: preferred date 31.05.2021, please indicate in the offer the possible delivery date (in weeks from receiving the order)

3. Terms of delivery: DDP – Gdańsk, Grupa LOTOS SA/Incoterms 2020

4. Tender content and form:
Questions should be asked only via Logintrade Purchasing Platform within terms indicated in the inquiry. Questions asked after the deadline will not be answered.
Answers will be given to all participants to the procedure after the expiry of the deadline for asking questions in a form of an update to the invitation to tender.

Tenderers may submit a tender only via the Logintrade Procurement Platform.

A complete tender should consist of two parts – a substantive, technical part and a commercial one.
       The tender should be drawn up in Polish or English.

The substantive and technical part should include:

• Information required in the invitation excluding the price,

• MSDS and information about the product,

• Product description,

• CN codes for adsorbent and ceramic balls,

• Requirements for ceramic balls (for option A),

• Proposition of ceramic balls with types and quantities (for option B),

• References for completed deliveries for the indicated scope (issued by a third party not earlier than 3 years ago) – min. 2

• Terms of delivery

• Other information excluding the price


A scan of:
• Power of proxy to submit the tender,
• In case of foreign entities – a certificate of residency.

In order for a commercial tender to be reviewed it must comply with technical requirements.
The commercial part should include: the price for option A and option B

All prices indicated in the tender should be net prices (excluding VAT). Costs resulting from provision of all other services referred to in the technical documentation attached to the invitation as well as annexes to it must be included in the tender.

5. Deadline for tender submission: according to the invitation on the Logintrade Procurement Platform. Incomplete tenders and tenders sent after the deadline will not be reviewed.
